Born in Coal Country
Anthracite Alley was born from a passion for both model railroading and the rich industrial heritage of northeastern Pennsylvania. Based in Scranton, PA—once the heart of America's anthracite coal industry—we create model kits that capture the rugged beauty of mine operations that shaped our region.
The Delaware & Hudson Railway, America's first railroad, was built to transport anthracite coal from the mines of northeastern PA to market. Our kits honor this legacy with authentic D&H style mine cars designed for model railroaders who appreciate historical accuracy.
